Ilyssa Meyer from Etsy started off the day with a keynote address titled, "What is a Maker City?" Afterwards, small groups discussed the question: when you imagine an ideal Maker City, what do you see?

The first panel discussion brought together pioneers of creative spaces in Knoxville. Surviving as a newbie business

The second panel brought together young entrepreneurs in town to discuss surviving as a newbie business. On the panel: Pierce LaMacchia from KBrew, Dan Wilson from The DW Designs, David Harman from Native Maps, Terrence Carter from the Knoxville Area Urban League, Sean and Sara Alsobrooks from Maker's Donuts, Alaina Smith from Cold Gold Jewelry and moderator Jonathan Sexton from the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center.
